Gold Coast Airport needed to understand its visibility across AI platforms for both English and Chinese-speaking audiences as consumers increasingly use AI-generated responses to access travel information and make travel decisions. While the airport had strong brand recognition, it needed to identify where competitors or third-party sources were winning citations and determine what actions to take to maximize LLM visibility.
We conducted a bilingual LLM Visibility Audit across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google Gemini, and Perplexity.
Early analysis revealed that Chinese audience searches focused almost exclusively on convenience and first-time visitor logistics, while English audience searches centered on amenities, parking, and transit options.
Recognizing that English prompts did not reflect Chinese audience intent, our in-market specialists developed a dedicated Chinese prompt set from scratch, ensuring the audit captured true local search behavior.
This approach enabled the client to build an AI visibility strategy that authentically addresses each audience’s priorities, positioning the airport as the authoritative source for both English and Chinese-speaking travelers.
